CIVIL WEDDINGS ________________________________________________________
People interested in civil weddings must meet the following requirements:

arrange the term of the wedding well in advance in co-operation with the chateau office (tel. +420 515 296 215)

arrange all the administrative issues relating to the wedding as required by the law, in co-operation with the Registry Office of Vranov nad Dyjí (tel. +420 515 296 312 , e-mail miklikova@ouvranov.cz )

prior to the wedding a fee of Kč 9,075 for rental of the hall, inclusive VAT (applicable for Czech citizens)

at least 20 minutes before the ceremony, i.e. approximately 11:45 PM, all the wedding participants shall gather on the second courtyard of the chateau

all the participants to the wedding shall leave the Hall of Ancestors by 12:50 AM at the latest.
Number of participants. The interior can take up to 300 persons; there are 20 chairs for sitting.
Flower arrangements are displayed only on the baroque table in front of the wedding officer. If the spouses require some sophisticated flower decorations they are to provide them at their own cost.
Musicis reproduced classical music. The spouses may also provide a CD of their specific choice or arrange musicians. However, the acoustics of the Hall is not perfect and not all types of music are feasible to listen to there.
Parking. A maximum of five vehicles may park on the first and second courtyards; the drivers shall not use horns when entering or leaving the premises. Other cars may park in front of the stables or on the municipal car park below the chateau. In specially substantiated cases the chateau office may grant an exception to this rule.
Cloakroom for the spouses is not available.
Photography and camcorder use in the Hall of Ancestors is arranged by the spouses. Photography in other chateau interiors, if the spouses require it, is possible with the spouses’ own photographer after the wedding ceremony, with the maximum of 10 people taking part and only under the supervision of the chateau employee. Filming is not allowed there.
After the wedding, the wedding participants may be present on the second courtyard until the end of the opening hours. However, all of the participants must observe the rules as stated in the Visitor Code. It is also necessary for them to keep reasonably quiet not to disturb other visitors. Own music performances, loud behaviour, rice throwing and other traditions are not allowed on the second courtyard. If the spouses wish a horse-drawn carriage on the second courtyard this is possible only upon the previous consent of the chateau office.
Rental of the Hall of Ancestors, Entrance Hall, southern terrace, and the second courtyard for wedding feasts is possible only between May and October. The price of the rental ranges between Kč 85, 000 and 150, 000. (More ...)
